A warehouse of humanitarian goods of unknown origin was found in Lviv region – 60 lorries were needed for its transportation

Detectives of the Territorial Department of the Security Service in the Lviv Region discovered warehouses with an area of 1,600 square meters. m., filled with humanitarian aid goods of unknown origin.

This was announced during a briefing at the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Acting head of the Territorial Administration of the BEB in the Lviv Region, Valery Tatsienko.

The product was discovered in a non-residential premises on Friday, April 21.

Valery Tatsienko said that the BEB detectives received court permission to search the premises, so the investigation has been going on for the fourth day. BEB employees describe the discovered product, classify it, and establish its origin. Among the detected goods: food products, children’s goods, bed linen, blankets, hygiene products, household chemicals, clothes – only about a thousand pallets.

“Now we are finding out how these goods got to the territory of Ukraine, why they were not distributed, and we are checking information about the possible sale of humanitarian aid,” Valery Tatsienko said.

BEB detectives establish the circle of persons involved in the import and storage of humanitarian aid. After all, it took approximately 60 lorries to deliver this cargo, and such movements could not remain unnoticed.
