A scheme for selling psychotropics disguised as legal business was uncovered in the Lviv region.
The organizer of the illegal import of the drug with phenobarbital into Ukraine was a representative of a Lviv pharmaceutical company, who received support from the director. The company was engaged in the retail trade of medical goods but did not have licenses to sell drugs containing narcotic substances.
The culprits created several call centers with computer equipment, communication tools, and security. Operators took orders from potential clients, kept black accounts, and dispatched medications.
Based on the collected evidence, the organizer of the criminal scheme and five of his accomplices have been notified of suspicion.
