The traffic accident happened on April 23 at 1:20 p.m. on the Skhidnytsia-Pisochna highway in the Drohobytsky district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, a 27-year-old resident of the city of Truskavets failed to control the Honda motorcycle, drove into a roadside canal, where he collided with a concrete drain for water drainage. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized. Despite the efforts of the doctors, the man died in the hospital soon after.
According to the fact, investigators of the Drohobytsk District Police Department opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
As the weather warms, more and more motorcyclists take to the roads, and accordingly, the number of traffic accidents involving them increases. Unfortunately, during road accidents, drivers of two-wheeled vehicles receive injuries, sometimes life-threatening. The main cause of road accidents is the violation of traffic rules by road users, in particular, motorcyclists.
