A resident of Donetsk was convicted in Lviv Oblast for supplying the occupiers with drones and generators

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the citizen of Ukraine was informed of the suspicion. He is charged with aiding the aggressor state (Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, during March-May of this year, a resident of Donetsk voluntarily provided assistance to the aggressor state.

To do this, the man posted publications on the collection of funds for the needs of the armed forces of the occupying country through his own account on the banned social network “Vkontakte”. In particular, he collected money for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles for the military of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the person involved voluntarily collected and handed over to the occupiers medical first-aid kits, painkillers, homeostatic bandages, etc., to ensure the conduct of hostilities against Ukraine.

The suspect also purchased gasoline generators and radio stations for the needs of the enemy.

A special pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the SBU Office in Lviv region.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
