The complex of preventive measures is carried out with the aim of strengthening the fight against crime and increasing the effectiveness of the search for suspects, accused (defendants), as well as missing persons, etc.
Since September 12, the “Search” operation has been underway in Lviv region, during which the police will use a special information system to check information about persons wanted by the competent authorities. In particular, the data of those who are wanted for criminal and administrative violations will be checked, which will allow to establish their whereabouts, conduct interviews and, if necessary, detain them. The police will also check information about missing persons.
In addition, law enforcement officers carry out preventive work to prevent the disappearance of minors. The police emphasize that if your child is missing, immediately call the emergency line 102. Every minute is important!
Operation “Search” will last until September 30.
