Based on the principled position of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the court upheld the lawsuit of the head of the Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office. It recognized as illegal the inactivity of the shelter’s balance keeper and obliged to take measures to bring it into proper technical condition.
Prosecutors have established that one of the enterprises of the Zolochiv district is the balance-keeper of the anti-radiation facility of civil protection. According to the technical specifications, it can accommodate more than 700 people.
However, for a long time, the enterprise, neglecting the safety of employees, did not ensure that this premises was brought to a state of readiness. Accordingly, it was impossible to use it as intended.
We are talking about a warehouse with a total area of about 400 square meters. m, which is intended for employees of this enterprise.
The court supported the validity of the prosecutor’s demands and satisfied the claim in full.
