Six people, including two minors, were injured in a triple traffic accident in Sambir Oblast

The traffic accident happened on April 6, around 8:10 a.m., on the Lviv-Sambir-Uzhgorod highway between the villages of Khlopchytsy and Vistovychy, Sambir district.

As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between three vehicles: a Toyota Avensis car driven by a 35-year-old woman from Lviv, a MAN truck driven by a 55-year-old resident of Lviv and a Fiat Ducato minibus driven by a 60-year-old resident one of the villages of the Sambir district.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the passenger car and two female passengers, aged 8 and 14, from Lviv, as well as the driver of the minibus and two of his passengers, a 32-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man, both residents of Sambirskyi, were injured and taken to medical facilities. district

According to the fact, the investigators of the Sambir district police department opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.

Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
