The traffic accident occurred on August 22, around 4:50 p.m., in the village of Nyzhankovichi, Sambir district
As previously established by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Daewoo Nubira car driven by a 49-year-old local resident and a tractor driven by a 33-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the tractor and his passenger, a 67-year-old local resident, were injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department No. 1 of the Sambir district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
