Yesterday at 21:27, rescuers received a report that a Daewoo Lanos and a VOLVO S60 had collided in the village of Lubiana, Stryi district.
The fire and rescue department of the 19th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Mykolaiv used hydraulic scissors and a wire cutter to unblock the driver from the Daewoo Lanos and disconnect the batteries in the two cars.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Daewoo Lanos was injured and hospitalised in critical condition at the Stryi Central District Hospital, as well as the driver of the VOLVO S60 and a passenger who refused to be hospitalised.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
