The traffic accident occurred on September 10, around 5:50 p.m., on the Lviv-Sheghini highway in the village of Gostintseve, Yavoriv district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a “Lexmoto” motorcycle driven by a 39-year-old local resident and a “Ford Kuga” car driven by a 40-year-old woman.
As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver received bodily injuries and was hospitalized in intensive care.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department No. 1 of the Yavoriv district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
