The court decision satisfied the lawsuit of the prosecutors of the Yavoriv district prosecutor’s office of the Lviv region. It recognized the balance keeper’s inaction as illegal and required him to bring the civil defense protective structure into a state of readiness for use as intended.
Prosecutors have established that an anti-radiation shelter is on balance in one of the village councils of the Yavoriv district. It is located in the building of the elementary school in the village of Volitsa.
We are talking about premises with a total area of almost 180 square meters. According to the technical passport, it can accommodate 170 people.
It should be noted that this storage facility was supposed to ensure the protection of students and school employees.
Despite the fact that it has been in poor technical condition for a long time, people had to take shelter in it during air raids.
The court confirmed the validity of the prosecutor’s demands and satisfied the claim in full.
