Land Belonging to a Russian Citizen Confiscated in Zolochiv Region

The Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office successfully secured the confiscation of two land plots owned by a citizen of the Russian Federation, transferring them to state ownership.

The confiscated properties are agricultural lands with a total area of nearly 1 hectare, located in the Busk Territorial Community.

Investigations revealed that the Russian citizen inherited the land plots. After acquiring ownership, she leased them to an agricultural enterprise, receiving regular payments.

However, under Ukrainian law, Russian citizens are prohibited from owning real estate within Ukraine. The Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit to address the matter.

The court upheld the prosecutor’s arguments and granted the claim. Once the court’s decision comes into force, steps will be taken to ensure its execution.
