A man who kept communist and Nazi symbols and explosives at home will be tried in Zolochiv Oblast

The prosecutors of the Zolochiv district prosecutor’s office completed the pre-trial investigation and sent an indictment to the court against a 38-year-old resident of the Zolochiv district on the facts of illegal acquisition and storage of explosives, as well as the manufacture and storage of Nazi and communist symbols (part 1 of article 263, part 1 of article 436-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, it was established that the accused kept at his place of residence almost a hundred sheets with the image of Nazi symbols, as well as about 450 manufactured plastic and silicone elements with the image of the swastika and communist symbols. In addition, during the search, several types of gunpowder were found and seized from the man, which, according to experts, belong to explosive substances.

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the Zolochiv RVP of the Provincial Government of Ukraine in the Lviv region.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
