The Zolochiv district prosecutor’s office has ensured the real implementation of the court’s decision to bring the anti-radiation shelter into readiness for its functional purpose.
Prosecutors established that one of the village councils of the Zolochiv district is the balance keeper of the civil defense facility. This room can accommodate 300 people.
However, the latter for a long time did not ensure the proper technical condition of this premises. Accordingly, it made it impossible to use the shelter as intended.
In order to protect the interests of the population, the prosecutor’s office appealed to the court with a lawsuit, which was fully satisfied.
Currently, the settlement council has implemented the court decision and carried out the relevant repair works. According to the act of assessment of the state of readiness, the above-mentioned civil protection building is in proper technical condition. Accordingly, it is fully prepared for sheltering the population during hostilities.
