He called Ukrainian defenders criminals – a blogger was detained in Lviv Oblast

Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the blogger from Drohobych was informed of the suspicion. He is charged with obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, producing and distributing materials justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Part 1 of Article 114-1, Part 2 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the resident of Drohobych (Lviv region) is a local blogger who publicly discredited Ukrainian defenders on his social media pages. In particular, in one of the live broadcasts, the suspect called representatives of the Armed Forces criminals.

The figure repeatedly prevented the legal delivery of summonses by representatives of the TCC, chasing them away and calling them “jackals”. At the same time, he claimed that the soldiers who were wounded at the front and started working in the above-mentioned institution are criminals. He called to prevent their activities.

At the same time, he filmed this conflict on video, which he later published on a social network.

The suspect also published a video on his channel in which he claimed that serving summonses to citizens of Ukraine is illegal and unconstitutional. To the bottom, he gave “advice” on how to build a dialogue with TCC employees and avoid serving subpoenas.

In addition, on his YouTube channel, the blogger also justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014.

The law enforcement officers detained him in accordance with Art. 615 of the CCP of Ukraine.

A petition was sent to the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the detainee.

Investigations are ongoing.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
