In November, speeding became a significant cause of road accidents, resulting in 83 injuries. A total of 63 accidents involving casualties were reported, with 9 of them tragically resulting in fatalities.
Speeding remains the leading cause of road traffic accidents. Patrol officers use TruCam devices to monitor speed compliance. In November alone, nearly 4,000 tickets were issued for speed violations.
Please remember that the speed limit in urban areas is 50 km/h.
