In Lviv, police are establishing the circumstances of a nighttime incident that resulted in a 21-year-old man being injured
Doctors diagnosed the victim with bruises and contusions.
On 21 September at around 11.30 pm, a 21-year-old Lviv resident called the 102 hotline. According to the applicant, on Zubrivska Street, where he and his father were waiting for the European Commissioner to register an accident, they were approached by two unknown men who started a conflict that escalated into a fight and then fled. Subsequently, doctors diagnosed the applicant with bruises and contusions.
In the report, the man also noted that after the attackers fled, he heard a sound similar to a firecracker explosion or a gunshot, but he could not say for sure what it was.
The investigative team of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 was working at the scene. Law enforcement officers examined the scene and the surrounding area – no shell casings or other items indicating that the attackers could have used weapons were found. Also, no one went to medical institutions with gunshot wounds.
