A couple of Lviv patrol officers during off-duty hours helped detain a suspected thief

The platoon commander of the 3rd battalion, Nazariy Dvozhan, and his wife Karolina, a patrolwoman who is on maternity leave, were on a walk with their son on Dovzhenka Street. The policewoman entered the store, and the husband and son remained outside.

Suddenly, the security of this institution ran out into the street after an unknown person and tried to catch up with her. The policeman with the child in his arms ran after the alleged attacker. Catching up with him, the patrolman called his wife and asked to find out what happened.

It turned out that the security guards recorded on surveillance cameras how the mentioned person grabbed a portable charger. Store employees were unable to catch up with the alleged thief, so they called the police.

At the same time, the policeman constantly kept the unknown person in his field of vision and, having contacted his colleagues on the shift, informed them where he was going. The patrol caught up with her family and they were already watching the alleged violator together.

“The citizen did not understand that a married couple with a child was following his every step, so he stopped running away. Instead, I already told my colleagues where he was,” the policeman noted.

When the alleged thief left another supermarket, Nazarii Dvozhan went after him and soon caught up with the alleged intruder together with a police crew. He admitted that he had really messed up the power bank.
An investigative team was called to the scene.
