Police officers of Lviv region honored the memory of their comrade – Roman Rushchyshyn, who was killed in a battle with Russian invaders

Roman Rushchyshyn, a soldier of the Lviv Special Police Patrol Service Battalion of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv Oblast, died two years ago, on March 7, 2022, in the Luhansk region, defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Roman was 45 years old and was survived by three children – two sons and a daughter.

The memory of the Hero and defender was honored by combat sworn brothers and colleagues, headed by the Head of the Personnel Department of the Lviv Police, Police Colonel Roman Onysyk, and the commander of the unit in which the fallen law enforcement officer served, Police Colonel Roman Krovitskyi.

Roman Rushchyshyn was buried in his native village in Lviv district. His colleagues took part in the memorial service and lit candles on the grave of their fallen comrade.

Eternal honor to the Heroes who died defending the independence of our country! Their memory will live forever in our hearts!
