The court granted the request of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office to seize the corporate rights of enterprises whose founders are citizens of the Russian Federation, for a total amount of over UAH 35 million.
The seized corporate rights were transferred to ARMA for management.
We are talking about three private enterprises that indirectly contribute to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and whose founders or beneficiaries are citizens or legal entities of the Russian Federation.
These are companies in Lviv and the region from various industries, whose production and financial activities were one of the components of financing the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. So, in particular, the facts of tax evasion in the course of 2020 by the officials of the enterprise for the manufacture of furniture products in the amount of more than UAH 8 million have been established. Due to this fact, a share of the capital of the specified company has already been seized, and financial assets worth more than UAH 32.8 million will be transferred to the state administration. In addition, information was received that may indicate that funds received from energy engineering design activities were transferred through the chain of financial transactions to the address of the Russian Federation.
Also, the court granted the request of prosecutors of the regional prosecutor’s office to seize real estate for a total amount of over UAH 35.3 million.
Pre-trial investigation in 3 criminal proceedings on the facts of fraud committed on a particularly large scale, legalization of property obtained by crime, tax evasion and official forgery (part 4 of article 190, part 1 of article 209, part 3 of article 212, Part 1, Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is carried out under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office by the investigators of the State Department of the National Investigation Agency in the Lviv Region, under the operational support of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Lviv Region of the National Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv Region.
