The Galician district prosecutor’s office of the city of Lviv filed a lawsuit in the interests of the state to cancel the decision of the village council and return the illegally sold land plot worth more than UAH 155 million.
It was established that the Bryukhovytsia Township Council, contrary to the law, illegally disposed of state-owned lands belonging to the object of the nature reserve fund and transferred for permanent use to the branch of the State Specialized Forestry Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” “Lviv Forest Selection and Seed Center”.
By its decision, the village council alienated a plot of land with an area of almost 4 hectares, which was illegally transferred to a legal entity on the basis of a sales contract.
The trial is ongoing.
