The Galician district prosecutor’s office ensured the actual implementation of the court decision and returned the land plot worth over UAH 70 million to the state.
Prosecutors established that a land plot with a total area of more than 2.2 hectares, located in Lviv, was transferred to LKP for permanent use. In order to build a concert and sports complex, the municipal enterprise entered into a joint venture agreement with one Lviv company, which undertook to build the aforementioned complex. However, contrary to the contract, the latter arranged a paid parking lot on the specified plot of land without any permits.
In this regard, the prosecutor’s office appealed to the court with a lawsuit to terminate the agreement on joint activities, terminate the right to permanent use of the land plot and return it to the Lviv City Council. The court fully satisfied the prosecutor’s claim.
Currently, thanks to the measures taken by the prosecutor’s office, the land plot has been returned to the Lviv community.
