Yesterday evening, a Mercedes minibus bound for Poland arrived at the Krakow checkpoint.
During the inspection of one of the passengers, border guards found a bundle with a gray-green vegetable substance, probably narcotic, hidden in his pocket. A 32-year-old citizen of Ukraine confirmed that the package contained marijuana packages that he was transporting for his own use.
A service dog of border guards of the Lviv detachment, trained to search for drugs, helped to detect the potion.
The discovered cannabis, weighing more than 60 grams, was seized by law enforcement officers for examination.
The relevant law enforcement agencies have been informed of this fact. Liability for this offense is provided for in Art. 309 of the Criminal Code (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation or forwarding of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues without the purpose of sale).
