Another pro-Russian propagandist is served suspicion notice in Lviv

Under the procedural supervision of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a citizen of Ukraine was served a notice of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state and justifying, recognizing as lawful, denying Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine (Part 1 of Art. 111-2, Part 2, 3 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, a native of Lviv, who now lives in the temporarily occupied AR of Crimea, conducts propaganda activities to support Russia.

To do this, the suspect systematically disseminates his manipulative videos on his personal Telegram channel, in which he expresses his support for the aggressor state, its decisions and actions regarding the war in Ukraine.

In particular, in his video messages, he justifies and recognizes the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014. He also denies the temporary occupation of part of the state’s territory. He claims that the occupiers came with the sole intention of improving the lives of both Russians and Ukrainians.

In addition, the man calls himself a historian, the founder of the Russian movement in Ukraine, and notes that he is fighting against Nazism and genocide against Russians.

The special pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the SBU Office in Lviv region.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
