Under the procedural leadership of the Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office, the chief of one of the departments of the local self-government body of the district was informed of the suspicion of embezzlement of budget funds under martial law and official forgery (Part 4 of Article 191, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, one of the sports halls of the Zolochiv district needed to repair the floor due to significant wear of the wooden covering. In order to purchase boards for repair work, a tender was announced, as a result of which a sales contract was signed. However, the supplier did not supply boards for repair.
Despite this, the suspect signed the invoice for the delivery of the goods in full. On the basis of the specified document, more than UAH 100,000 was unjustifiably transferred to the supplier. budget funds.
Investigations are ongoing.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
