Since the beginning of the year, 3,248 road accidents have occurred on the roads of Lviv and the region, in which 92 people died and 782 were injured.
The most common causes of accidents are:
– violation of the rules of maneuvering (1208 accidents);
– speeding (927 accidents);
– non-observance of distance (507 car accidents);
– violation of traffic rules at intersections (166 accidents);
– driving while intoxicated (90 accidents).
Law enforcement officers once again urge all road users to strictly comply with traffic rules, do not exceed the speed limit and do not perform risky maneuvers, be as careful and cautious when passing intersections or pedestrian crossings, and never drive while intoxicated. Take care of your life and the health of yourself and other road users.
