“Such actions are a lowliness and a disgrace,” Andriy Sadovyi on the Ukrainian grain dumped on the border

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi has spoken out about the Ukrainian grain spilled during the blockade of Ukrainian-Polish border crossing points and condemned the actions of Polish farmers.

“This photo shows Ukrainian grain that was poured out of Ukrainian trucks by Polish, but in fact pro-Russian provocateurs.

The pseudo-blockade on the border continues. Ukrainians are literally pouring blood on the fields that produce this grain. Harvesting wheat in a field that has seen war is like working as a sapper. Such actions are lowly and shameful,” said the mayor of Lviv.

As a reminder, Polish activists are blocking the border with Ukraine at three checkpoints because of the European Commission’s decision to extend duty-free trade with Ukraine until 2025. The blockers warn that their protest will last for 30 days – until 9 March.
