Three people who survived a fatal car accident near Lviv are still in serious condition

A 45-year-old patient with a brain contusion and subdural haemorrhage in the frontal region is being treated at St Panteleimon’s Hospital.

 

A 24-year-old woman with a head injury and fractures and a 39-year-old man with a bruised lung, bone fractures and a closed head injury are in St Luke’s Hospital.

Six women aged 17-55 and a 23-year-old minibus driver died in a large-scale road accident in Lviv region

Investigators, forensic experts and other specialists of the Lviv regional police were working at the scene.

According to preliminary data, the 24-year-old driver of a BMW, a resident of the Lviv district, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a DAF road train.
