The traffic accident happened on August 15, around 2:30 p.m., on Doroshenko Street in Boryslav.
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between Audi A6 driven by a 70-year-old local resident and Hyundai Accent driven by a 30-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the passenger of the Hyundai Accent, a five-year-old local resident, was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department No. 1 of the Drohobytsk district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
