In Boryslav, a nine-year-old girl was injured as a result of a motorcycle collision – the police are investigating the circumstances
The traffic accident occurred on October 6 at 2:00 p.m. on Stepana Bandera Street in the city of Boryslav, Drohobytsky district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of a Suzuki motorcycle, a 35-year-old resident of one of the villages of the district, hit a pedestrian, a nine-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the girl was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial unit of the police of Lviv Oblast opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
