Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a citizen of Ukraine was notified of suspicion of collaborative activity (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, after the full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine by Russian troops and the seizure of the region, the suspect entered into a criminal conspiracy with the invaders and at the end of May 2022 voluntarily agreed to take up the position of head of the so-called law enforcement agency “Skadovsky Department of the People’s Police”.
The suspect, while carrying out the tasks of the Russian military, persuaded his former colleagues to cooperate with them. He was personally engaged in the selection of candidates and employees, provided material and technical support for the activity of the illegally created unit, and also provided instructions on the illegal detention of citizens.
The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the investigators of the SBU Office in the Lviv region under the operational support of the SSR in the Lviv region of the SSR of the NP of Ukraine.
