On 15 July, at 01:09, rescuers received a report that in the village of Zibolky, Lviv district, the driver of a VAZ-21099, born in 1994, had lost control and slid into a ditch.
The rescuers used hydraulic and chance tools to unblock the victim from the car, disconnect the battery and tow the car out of the ditch using a cable.
As a result of the accident, the driver was hospitalised in moderate condition at St Panteleimon’s Hospital in Lviv.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
