In Lviv, a 16-year-old boy was electrocuted on the roof of a railway tanker

Law enforcement officers of Lviv region warn once again: railway stations are not a place for entertainment!

On March 15, at about 7:30 p.m., the police received a report from medics that a minor had been electrocuted at the Pidzamche railway station in Lviv.

The investigative task force and other officers of the Lviv District Police Department immediately left the scene1. According to police, a 16-year-old resident of the Kherson region climbed on a tank to take a photo. However, while in the car, the minor was electrocuted and fell on the track.

The victim with severe electric burns was taken to hospital, his condition is serious.

The police are establishing all the circumstances, the issue of the legal qualification of the event is being resolved.

Law enforcement officers of Lviv region once again warn that railway stations are not a place for entertainment. Do not climb on cars or locomotives. Remember that high-voltage catenaries are under high voltage, which can lead to electric shock, often fatal. Keep yourselves!
