Yesterday evening, on Horodotskyi street, the driver of the collector’s car caused an accident by driving into the safety island. He immediately left the scene. This was reported to the Voice of Sokal Region by the Patrol Police of the Lviv region.
Patrolmen of the 4th battalion found the fugitive.
The 50-year-old driver showed signs of alcohol intoxication. The Drager device showed a result of 2.27 ppm.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated, causing an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. They also issued a resolution for the lack of necessary documents for driving a vehicle.
During the registration of the materials, the driver’s partner got behind the wheel and tried to drive away from the stop in reverse. The crew stopped the man, he said he had to take the money. However, he could not do this either, because he also had signs of intoxication. He refused the inspection.
A protocol was drawn up against the man under Part 1 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) of the Code of Administrative Offenses and a resolution for the lack of necessary documents for driving a vehicle.
