Patrol Officers Found Drugs and Psychotropic Sweets on Driver
Yesterday afternoon, while patrolling on Mickiewicz Square, inspectors stopped the driver of an Acura MDX for failing to comply with a traffic sign. While speaking with the driver, patrol officers noticed signs of drug intoxication.
Discovery of Narcotics
During a superficial check, the citizen removed a zip bag containing a green plant substance and a jelly candy, which the driver claimed had psychotropic effects, from his bag.
Legal Consequences
The patrol officers issued a ticket to the 40-year-old offender for a traffic violation and drafted a report under Part 1 of Article 130 (Driving Under the Influence) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The case was then handed over to investigators.
