In Lviv, during a fire on Trolleybusnaya Street, firefighters rescued 60 people, including 10 children, and evacuated 20 people

On January 2, at 00:16, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Lviv on the street Troleybusna, 14 on the sixth floor of a nine-story residential building in one of the apartments.

At the time of the arrival of the fire and rescue units, flames were coming out of the window of the apartment. The rescuers put on special devices for the protection of respiratory and vision organs and began work on rescuing people and extinguishing the fire.

Emergency workers rescued 60 people from the smoky building using rescue devices, including 10 children (including 3 infants), and 20 people were evacuated outside the building.

At 00:56 the fire was localized and at 01:14 it was extinguished by the 5 units of the gas and smoke protection service. The fire destroyed household items on an area of 25 square meters, damaged the walls and ceiling of the common corridor on an area of 40 square meters, and the door of a neighboring apartment.

As a result of the fire, 3 people were injured (2 people were poisoned by combustion products, 1 person was mechanically injured), and they were hospitalized in a medical institution. Rescued: 60 people, including 10 children (including 3 infants). Evacuated: 20 people.

32 personnel and 6 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The circumstances and cause of the fire are being established.
