In Lviv, the police uncovered an intruder suspected of robbery and shoplifting

The law enforcement officers remind once again that in the conditions of martial law, the maximum punishments are provided for committing theft, robbery, robbery, extortion, as well as for misappropriation, waste of property or possession of it by abuse of official position.

As the employees of police department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 established, a 31-year-old man from Lviv was involved in nine thefts from various stores located in Sikhiv, as well as one robbery. In November, he fled the store without paying for the goods, despite the efforts of employees of the commercial establishment to stop him.

The police established the identity of the attacker with the help of video surveillance cameras of the Bezpechna Lvivshchyna system. The investigators informed him of the suspicion of committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 4 of Article 186 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and Part 4 of Article 185 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanctions of the articles is imprisonment for a term of up to ten years.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
