Police Investigate Death of Man Hit by Train in Lviv

On January 10, around 6:20 p.m., a tragic incident occurred at the “Pidzamche” railway station in Lviv, where a train fatally struck a 60-year-old man.

According to preliminary police reports, an unidentified train hit the resident of Lviv. The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Criminal Investigation
Investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of safety rules for railway, water, or air transportation). The article provides for imprisonment ranging from five to ten years.
