A traffic accident occurred on May 22, at about 2:20 p.m., at the intersection of Horodotska and Patona streets in Lviv.
According to the police, a collision took place between a Nissan Kashkai driven by a 48-year-old resident of Lviv district and a GEON X250 motorcycle driven by a 25-year-old Lviv resident.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was injured and taken to hospital.
In fact, investigators of the territorial police department of Lviv region opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is up to three years of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
Law enforcement officers are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
