The traffic accident happened on November 2, around 7:00 p.m., on Horodotsky Street in Lviv.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the “Electron” bus, a 51-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Lviv district, hit a pedestrian, a 30-year-old resident of the Zaporizhia region, after which the man was thrown into the Fiat Doblo car, which was driven by a 36-year-old Lviv resident “Yanin”
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial unit of the police of Lviv Oblast opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
