In Lviv, a 13-year-old boy was injured after being hit by an ambulance

The traffic accident happened on October 3, around 8:15 p.m., on Shevchenko Street in Lviv.

As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of an ambulance, a 45-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Yavoriv district, driving with blue flashing beacons and a special sound signal on, hit a pedestrian, a 13-year-old local resident.

As a result of the accident, the boy was injured and hospitalized.

According to the fact, the investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.

Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
