The driver provided the patrol with a driver’s license registered to a woman in the database
The other day, around 9 p.m., Lviv patrol officers stopped an Opel Astra car on Horodotskyi Street, whose driver was driving the car without the dipped headlights on at dark.
The 21-year-old driver provided his driver’s license for verification. With the help of information databases, law enforcement officials found out that a document with a similar series and number was registered to a woman.
As it turned out, the man did not receive a document for the right to drive a car at all. The police issued a decree against the offender under Part 2 of Art. 126 (Driving a vehicle by a person who does not have the right to drive such a vehicle) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Inspectors called an investigative team to the scene.
