In Lviv, a driver with signs of drug intoxication crashed into a house

On 16 August, in the evening, a Skoda Fabia drove into a house on Zamarstynivska Street and smashed its wall to pieces. The car was driven by a 34-year-old woman.

This was reported to the Holos Sokalshchyny by the Patrol Police of Lviv region.

There were two people in the house. Its 30-year-old resident needed a medical examination.

While talking to the culprit and the owner of the car, who was a passenger at the time of the collision, patrol policemen detected signs of drug intoxication.

The woman was tested in a medical facility, and the information was confirmed. The driver was charged with driving a vehicle without having the right to drive such a vehicle. Reports were also drawn up for a road traffic accident and driving under the influence of alcohol.

The owner of the car was issued a resolution for transferring control of the vehicle to a person who is not entitled to drive such a vehicle. A report was drawn up for handing over the steering wheel to a drunk person.

We urge drivers to never drive while intoxicated, as this can lead to tragic consequences.
