He issued fictitious journalist certificates: National Police serves suspicion notice to pseudo-activist
The 39-year-old “head” of the newspaper, which was not accredited, conducted training worth 7,000 hryvnias. The students had to transfer the payment to the account of another human rights organisation, which was also founded by the defendant.

The suspect was exposed by investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 jointly with operatives of the SBU Office in Lviv region, under the procedural supervision of the Halych District Prosecutor’s Office.
Law enforcement officers documented several facts of the suspect’s illegal activities, and during an authorised search of his apartment and car, police found and seized two phones, laptops, fake IDs, documents of NGOs, and bank statements. It is also known that the suspect is a person of interest in the SBU criminal proceedings for promoting Russian narratives.
The National Police investigators served the man a notice of suspicion of committing criminal offences under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 190 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is imprisonment for up to three years. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
