An attempt to illegally move electronic cigarettes was stopped this morning at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint.
The Renault minibus, driven by a 32-year-old citizen of our country, was on its way to Ukraine. Based on the analysis and risk assessment, the car was sent for additional inspection.
During a joint inspection with operatives and customs officials, law enforcement officers discovered undeclared goods among the passengers’ personal belongings. A resident of Lviv Oblast hid 600 electronic cigarettes in the luggage compartment of a minibus.
According to this fact, the customs officials drew up a protocol. Cigarettes were removed in the established order. According to market prices, their estimated value is 330,000 hryvnias.
