The suspect was remanded in custody for 60 days. For what she committed, she faces up to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.
As determined by operatives of the criminal police and investigators of the Stryi district police department, a 22-year-old resident of Stryi was engaged in the sale of drug-containing tablets “Subutex” and the psychotropic substance “Amphetamine” in the territory of Lviv region.
On June 16, the police conducted a search of her residence, during which they found zip bags with a powdery substance and pills similar to narcotics and psychotropic substances, blisters with pills marked “Subutex”, electronic scales, as well as means for packaging drugs .
Everything removed is directed to expert research.
Investigators of the territorial division of the police informed the perpetrator about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
According to the court’s decision, the suspect was remanded in custody for 60 days with the right to post bail.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement officers establish the channels of entry of drugs and psychotropic substances.
