The traffic accident happened on June 4 at around 19:00 on the Mykolaiv-Zhydachiv highway near the village of Demyanka.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Peugeot car, a 42-year-old woman from Lviv, lost control of the car and the vehicle went into a ditch. As a result of the accident, two passengers of the car – a 42-year-old man and an eight-year-old girl, as well as the driver, received physical injuries and were taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Investigative Department of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
An investigation is underway, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
