Nearly 29 Hectares of Land to Be Returned to the Community in Zolochiv District

The Commercial Court has upheld a claim filed by the Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office on behalf of the territorial community of Lviv Region. The lawsuit was initiated against an individual and a farming enterprise to terminate a lease agreement and return a land plot to the community.

The case involves a 29-hectare agricultural land parcel located within the Busk Territorial Community of Zolochiv District.

Reasons for the Lawsuit

An investigation revealed that the business entity violated the terms of the lease agreement by misusing the land. Additionally, the lessee systematically failed to pay rent for the land, which was allocated for farming purposes from grassland reserves.

Prosecutor’s Response and Next Steps

In response to the violations, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to terminate the lease and return the land to the community. The court ruled in favor of the prosecution.

Once the decision becomes legally binding, the prosecutor’s office will take prompt action to ensure its execution and transfer the land back to the community.
