A meeting with representatives of business associations was held at the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office. They discussed the issue of protection of subjects of economic and investment activity.
It was attended by the first deputy head of the regional prosecutor’s office, Roman Pavlenko, the head of the law enforcement department of the BEB of Ukraine of the regional prosecutor’s office, Serhiy Peretyatko, representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the head of the BEB TU in the Lviv region, Vitaly Dragunov, as well as representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, the Union of Ukrainian entrepreneurs, the European Business Association, the Council of the regional branch of the Taxpayers Association of Ukraine, the Committee on Legal Support of Banks’ Activities and the Protection of Creditors’ Rights of the Independent Banks Association of Ukraine, JSC “Kredobank”.
The meeting was chaired by the head of the regional prosecutor’s office Hennadiy Demchenko.
During the meeting, the participants emphasized the issues of business interaction with law enforcement agencies, the importance of combating criminal manifestations of unscrupulous entrepreneurs.
“In the conditions of the long-term large-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the question of increasing the level of trust on the part of businesses in state institutions, creating the prerequisites for effective investment in the economy, and the development of virtuous business both in wartime and after our Victory remains extremely important,” the head emphasized. regional prosecutor’s office.
Based on the results of the meeting, proposals were prepared for further cooperation of business associations with the prosecutor’s office, exchange of information and prompt response to any manifestations of unreasonable pressure on business from the law enforcement agencies of the region.
