A multifunctional class “Security and Protection of Ukraine” was opened at Obroshinsk school

In 2023, 68 such classes were opened in schools of the Lviv region. The official opening took place on December 14.

Teachers, students and the community were greeted by the director of the department of education and science of the Lviv OVA Oleg Paska, the head of the Lviv RU GU DSNS of Ukraine in the Lviv region Oleg Horokhivskyi, the village head Ivan Halych and the director of the Obroshinsky ZZSO I-III degrees named after L. Shankovsky Lyudmila Dmytryk.

For two years in a row, the Lviv OVA allocates funds for the furnishing of “Protection of Ukraine” offices. The project in the Obroshyn community was successfully implemented under the conditions of co-financing: thanks to a subvention from the regional budget and the contribution of the Obroshyn village council.

The “Safety and Protection of Ukraine” class at the Obroshinsk school is a modern educational space, which is divided into six educational zones: pre-medical assistance, psychological relief, fire and mine safety, traffic rules, protection of Ukraine.

The class is equipped with thematic educational and visual aids and equipment. A multimedia laser shooting range is also equipped here.

Oleg Paska noted that for two years Lviv OVA, on its own initiative and with the direct support of the head of OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, has been providing subventions to “Protection of Ukraine” offices. From the following year, the Ministry of Education and Science decided to spread the experience of the Lviv Oblast to the whole of Ukraine by introducing state subsidies for the creation of “Protection of Ukraine” offices.

It is planned that students and teachers from all schools of the Obroshyn territorial community will attend the newly created “Security and Protection of Ukraine” class.

Oksana Bentsak, head of the department of education, culture, tourism, youth and sports of the Obroshina village council, comments: “Starting next year, we plan to hold a number of educational trainings for teachers and youth. Time dictates new requirements and prepares us for new challenges. Raising our children in a military-patriotic spirit, in love for the native land, we are preparing a worthy change, patriots and real soldiers.”

For reference:

This year, in the regional budget of the Lviv Oblast, 18.3 million hryvnias are planned for the equipment of offices on the subject “Defense of Ukraine”. The same amount should be provided by local budgets under co-financing conditions.

These expenses are foreseen by the Education Development Program of the Lviv Region for 2021-2025.
